UPDATE FOR CLUB DAY 1 FOR 2012

Due to time constraints Vets C will not be run this year.
Juniors Remember to have your log books updated.
Also please ensure your membership is up to date as it appears to be a busy day.

FIRST CLUB DAY FOR 2012

Our first Club day for 2012 will be held on Saturday 4th February. Due to Council restrictions imposed on the Club our Race day schedule has changed. Below are the new times to ensure we meet our curfew of 6pm.

Gates open 5.30am
Sign on 6am - 8.30am ( no exception )
Scrutineering closes at 9am
Riders briefing 9.30am
Practice will commence after Riders brief.

Volunteers will be required for Canteen and Scoring.

It would be a great help if memberships are done prior to Club day as this could delay your entry.

new track hours

The Council has informed the Club that Night practice is to cease as of Thursday 15th December. Also there is to be no practice on Sunday's. The new opening hours allocated by Council are 9 - 6pm Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday 10 - 4pm. However due to Practice supervisor availability on these days the following opening times are listed below until further notice.

Tuesday 1 - 6pm All classes

Wednesday 1 - 6pm All classes

Thursday Coaching 4 - 6pm All classes

Saturday 10 - 4pm All classes

Every member needs to email their local councilor and voice their deep dissatisfaction with Councils resolution on the new track opening times and it's future. Remember when you email them ask a question e.g. Is it ok to take my kids out of school to attend practice due to no more Nights and the track closure on Sunday. Also ask them why other sporting clubs open for training after hours to benefit working families and school commitments but we cannot. Are they prejudice towards us.

Click on the link below for all Council contact details. You guys as residents and ratepayers have a right to ride in a safe and controlled environment and Council has an obligation to meet that right. Remember ask them a question as by law all questions are required to be answered.

CLUB COACHING

Come down on Thursday evenings and join Chris Urquhart at his coaching
clinic from 4-6 pm at the track. Great session for all levels from 65cc to Vets.
